2025 Ventura College Men's & Women's Cross Country Team News
Ventura's Brianna Richards and Henry Fulk competed in the 3C2A Women's and Men's Cross Country Championships, respectively, Saturday at Fresno's Woodward Park. Richards ran 29th out of the 169 runners in the women's 5k race while Fulk placed 77th out of 194 competitors in the men's 4-mile run.
Pirate freshman Brianna Richards ran in sixth place Friday in the Southern California Regional Championships to qualify for the 3C2A State Finals on Nov. 23 in Fresno. Meanwhile, the Pirate men ran as a team, finishing just out of a state qualifying spot, placing 17th. Henry Fulk finished 59th overall, also qualifying for state as an individual.
The Pirates' men's and women's cross country teams both qualified for the Southern California Championships Friday with solid performances at the Western State Conference Championships at Moorpark. Brianna Richards finished as the conference runner-up to lead the women to a seventh place finish overall while a tightly bunched group of four men's runners behind Henry Fulk helped the men finish seventh as a team, as well.
The VC men's and women's corss country teams ran at the Manny Bautista College Open Friday at the Naval Training Center Park in San Diego Friday, a meet which also served as the Couthern California Preview on the course for November's regional championships. The Pirate men ran 15th of the 23 competing teams while the women, who did not compete in the team competition, were led by Brianna Richards, who ran seventh overall.
The VC men's and women's cross country teams hosted the Western State Conference Preview Meet Friday morning at Arroyo Verde Park. Aiden Plew led the men's team with an 18th place finish out of 98 runners while Natalie Kreil was the first runner for Ventura to cross the finish line in the women's race in 33rd place out of 51 competitors.

The Pirate men ran 17th as a team, led by Henry Fulk in 58th place overall while the VC women were led by Brianna Richards who finished eighth overall.

The Ventura men came in third as a team among the six competing squads.
